My name is Jayme McKay and I am 23 years old. I am an avid cat lover. My cat, Pumpkin, was my best friend, soulmate, and muse. You can expect to find her in many of my works. My art explores the use of portraiture, nature, animals, and mental health.
I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and currently live outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I received my BFA in Studio Arts at Youngstown State University in Spring 2023.
I am experienced in oil painting, acrylics, gouache, charcoal, mural painting, graphite, colored pencil, digital art, ceramic hand-building, and wheel throwing. My experience at YSU has also allowed me to experiment with welding, wood carving, digital photography, and printmaking.

Currently, I am apprenticing as a tattoo artist at Full Circle Body Art in Sharon, Pennsylvania.
